Does this lead you to anything that helps?

Apparently AT&T/Yahoo did something that corrupted mail on the
web server, because there have been quite a few people reporting
this problem.

I had this problem myself a few days ago. To fix it, go to
http://mail.yahoo.com and log in with your AT&T credentials.
Then clean out all the folders in your webmail. If you want to save
any messages, create a new folder and move those messages to the
new folder. Empty the thrash also. Close webmail, then try Windows
Mail again. Please report back.

No it did not work thank you for help not sure what to do now since its
windows mail that I use for my business emailing there is one other I still
havn't tried my boss had me d/l avast anti virus program. But it slowed my pc
down so bad I uninstalled it this could have caused the problem.

You can try uninstalling any and all third party security programs.

To determine if the problem is with your computer or with the
mail server, set that account up on another computer. If you get
the same error (0x80004005) then the problem is at the server level.
Call your mail provider for help.

Having two or more antivirus programs installed at the same time is
not a good idea. I have been able to use avast! without problems
when it was the only antivirus program installed, after a custom
install that told it to leave out the part that scans email.
