Which email program do you use? Windows Mail or something else?

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause
assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

Are you showing us the entire error message? Some of us look at
parts you wouldn't expect.

What email program is that friend using to send the messages?

That looks like an error message from the operating system, Vista.
Did this problem start recently? If so, you can restore Vista to how it
was before then: All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

I have Trend PC-cillin Internet security 14.
I just got another with a different mesage.

At the very top of the box:
Windows no disk. I also got that on the first one I posted.

The new message is as follows:
Exception Proessing message 0xc0000013
Parameters:
0x75AEo23C
0x84A4FB14
0x75AE023C
ox75AE023C

Those are not Windows Mail errors, they are Vista errors.
As I suggested previously, restore Vista to an earlier date.

Thank You All that answered my post !!
