Error message

I have a new Vista machine. I get an error message when I am in Windows
Explores and try to click on some files. For instance when I click on
"cookies" I get the error message "location is not accessable-access denied".
Everything eles works OK and it is just this one error message I get when I
click on SOME files. Does anyone know why?

Old joke: Guy goes to see his doctor, says hey Doc, if I move my arm
over my head and wave it around like this it hurts. Doc says don't do
that and it won't hurt.

Windows is trying to prevent you from getting into trouble when you
peek in folders you shouldn't mess with unless you known what you're
doing. Cookies are little text files put on your computer on the sneak
when you visit many web sites. They can hold a small amount of
information about you and what you did last time you visited, stuff
like that. They may also hold passwords so you don't have to type them
in again. In general they are harmless and hardly take up any room at
all on your system.

General rule of thumb, if Windows denies access and you have no
particular reason for doing anything with the file/folder LEAVE IT
ALONE. If you must fiddle, learn first, then learn some more about
file permissions and attributes.

Cookies are small scripts put on your computer so that you can be recognized
by the web site you frequent, they are usually harmless, although some can
feed back your browsing habits. You can delete via your browser
Tools/Internet Options.

Ian, how can the thread creator be a "customer"?

No-one will see any money out of him/her; so, he/she is not a customer!

None of them are customers of mine!

It also won't let me open "Documents and Settings", "PrintHood", "Send
To", "Start Menu", "Templates", and "Local Settings".

Does anyone have another answer? It would be appreciated.
