Hello -
When I opened my windows mail for the first time I got the message below.
What can I do to fix this? Where can I find the error button to fix my
profile?


some error accured while processing the request task......

The host 'pop3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'pop3', Server: 'pop3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Take your computer back and ask for a refund
on the basis that you are far too ignorant to own it.

No, but you manage.

The guy is repeating questions without bothering to read the answers
he has been given and that clogs up the forum for others.
 
You filled in the wrong name for the incoming (POP3) mail server.
"pop3" is not a valid server name.
Looks like your ISP is Comcast; they say here
http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/index.jsp?faq=Hot117481
that their incoming mail server is named mail.comcast.net.
Mail usually works better when you set it up like your ISP says to.
