error message

Just over the past week I get this error message.

System could not be restored from its previous location
due to a read failure.

I have searched all over and cannot find why this is a
problem. I have not downloaded anything.

More information is needed. What is the complete error message? When does
the error occur and what function are you performing when the error occurs?
