Johny

Its really bugging me this is and I cannot get rid of
this error. I am running XP Home Edition.

I get the error "Windows explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience"
Then at the bottom "Send" and "Don't Send"

In the Error Signature File it says:
Appname: Explorer.exe
Modname:Wininet.dll

It display this error sometimes for no apparent reason or
when I try to access some Windows programs like Control
panel. As it will not let me access these programs its
becoming very annoying. When I double click on control
panel for instance I recieve the error then I see just
the Background Picture then the desktop icons appear
again. I did a Virus check Just in case but it found
nothing.Has anyone got any ideals on solving this issue?
thanks for any help.

Hello!
Did you do this

Start > Run sfc /scannow
Also Also

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close...

Apparently the reason this might be happening is because of
some bad piece of code in a IE search-hijacker.

Downlaod this and run one or both these to ferret out
spyware as a possible culprit.
