error message

Had written earlier in the day about this problem. now the error message has
changed to...

error 0x800ccc oe connection to the server has failed account Angela server
127.0.0.1 protocol pop3 port 110 secure ssl number socket error 100061 error
0x800ccc.

Does this make any sense to anyone. if so thank you for any help you can
give.

I can't seem to locate your earlier message, but this one looks to be an
error with your email account named Angela trying to connect to the email
server. Since the server is at 127.0.0.1 I'm thinking that you're using some
sort of popmail checker like YPops.

Now, if all of this is true, I'd suggest removing and reinstalling the
popmail checker. I have continual problems with YPops (which uses
127.0.0.1), with HotPops, and even with Mailwasher. A removal and reinstall
usually solves it - for a while :(
 
Thank you I am in contact by phone with her now. she has tried to contact
her server provider but they close at 8pm.would my settings be the same a
hers as we have the same server provider
 
Thank you all very much for your help.I will let you know how we get it
fixed.
