error message

I have windows 2000, it boots up and then my monitor
says 'both input signals are missing off mode will be
enabled' this is in a red box. My computer then starts
rebooting and we keep going through this forever.
Although yesterday it stayed up long enough for me to get
my email and then it was off again. Could it be my monitor?

I would hazard a guess that the video card is dying. (no signal to
monitor) and then Windows 2000 chokes on the video card from the other
side and reboot.
