Error message

dear all,
I have a PentiumIII 128mb ram 20gb hdd loaded with win2000
professional while i start internet explorer 5.0 i
sometimes get the following error

iexplore.exe has generated errors and will be closed
by windows. you will need to restart the programe.

Kindly help in this regard

Try to do windows update...

- go to www.microsoft.com
- look for windows update on the left screen
- click on windows update
- click yes if there is a pop up message
- click critical updates on the left screen
- review and install all the updates
- some updates need to be installed separately so
keep downloading the critical updates till it say
it has zero (0) updates at this time
