I am using windows 2000 op sys, each time my cpu boots i
get an error message saying cannot find loader.exe -- is

Have you installed anything recently. Go in to Add/Remove programs and see
if there is anythign suspicious installed. It could be a spyware program.
To disable the executable from starting up with Windows do this:

Start, run, type in regedit, press enter. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurreVersion\Run
On the right side you will see everything that starts up with Windows. Look
for the executable (loader.exe) and it's path under the Data column. Delete
it. Restart Windows.
