Error message with creating rule

I have someone that emails that I want to permanently block. He sends to me
in an undisclosed recipients mail list. I have already got the emails going
to spam but I want to add rule that will permanently send his emails to trash
and delete.

I have created rule that recognizes his name and email address. When I try
to complete this rule, I get the error
"You do not have appropriate permission to perform this operation."
Can someone help me?
