Error message when sending mail on smtp using outlook 2000

Hi al i am using outlook 2000 and yesterday everytime i try to send mail on a
smtp i get the following message "the tcp/ip connection was unexpectedly
terminated by the server(account:pop.ntlworld.com, smtp.ntlworld.com; error
number: 0x800cccf"
This is on my laptop however using exactly the same connection details on my
stnd alone i can send and recieve without any problems. The laptop is on a
wireless connection.

I am downloading it now however it was working yesterday and originally i did
have sp1 included but tried a clean install earlier today to see if that
solved the problem

I have now downloaded all the available updates for both office and outlook
and still not solved the problem anybody have any other ideas
