error message regarding Application Managment service

Hi,

I just noticed this error in event viewer, and not sure how to fix
it..anyways it says this

The Application Management service terminated with the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Can someone advise me how to fix that in Windows XP Home Edition Service
Pack 2.

Check your event log (start button --> run --> eventvwr --> OK) and see if
this applies:

Adding or removing a program may generate Event ID 7023

SYMPTOMS

When you add or remove a program by using Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel, the following event may appear in the system log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event ID: 7023
Description: The Application Management Service terminated with the
following error: The specified module could not be found.

If so - contact Microsoft and try to get the patch.

Was gonna try contacing MS last night via email on the support site, but
everytime i entered my product ID, it said it didn't go with XP Home Edition,
but that's what i have XP Home SP2--There email support page kept saying the
Product ID goes to Windows Professional, yet i never ever used Windows
Professional once in all the time i had XP. Should i try contacting MS by
Phone?
