Error Message - Please help ASAP!!!!!

Whenever I try to run a CD from either one of CD drives, I get a window error
message that reads:

16 Bit Subsystem:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG.NT. The system files is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

(Buttons) 'Close' 'Ignore'

When I hit ignore, it doesn't do anything. When I hit close, it closes
everything. What the heck does this mean and how can it be fixed??? I need
help ASAP!

Error message when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program

Replace the standard version of autoexec.nt/config.nt by copying a backup copy
located in %windir%\repair\ to %windir%\system32\
(NB: %windir% is typically C:\Windows)
