Thanks for the reply, I haven't installed hardly anything on there. It
started happening a few weeks ago, I am wondering if something has gotten
corrupted or deleted. Since this laptop is brand new I thought about just
re-installing Vista and starting fresh. Any tips?

I am a little unfamiliar with Vista, as I have only been using it for a few
weeks. Any direction in regards to carrying out your solution would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your reply.

Hi,

The startup folder is:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup

The registry run keys are no different than XP under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
