I have just recently started to receive the following error message
immediately after XP has started: "No Language Support Detected!". What does
it mean and what can I do about it? it doesn't seem to have any dire
consequences.

Did you tempered with your Regional settings recently and changed the
default settings to another languages.
How old your computer is?.
Open by double clicking control panel >> Date, Time, Language, and
Regional Options >> Regional and Language Options and on the R and L Options:
Click on these Tabs and see the settings underneth it:

| Regional Options | Languages | Advanced |

HTH.
Please let us know.

Thanks Nass---already looked there and no hadn't changed anything.
Machine is 3 years old, running XP Pro.

Try to change the CMOS battery (on the Motherboard) it may run out and see if
it will solve the problem.
Do you have Anti-virus up2date scan your system for viruses, to besure it is
clean and healthy and no interference from the muggers!.
