Just started to get a message on boot up that OPXPApp.exe could not run and
wants to send an error report to Microsoft. Once the computer is fully
loaded, it takes 3 or more minutes to sign on to the Internet even though I
have high speed cable. Anyone know what this is all about?

Hi puskarman,

Apparently, OPXPApp.exe is the main executable for Softex's OmniPass
software, used to protect data and manage your passwords on your computer:

Perhaps you could find Tech Support via their website or try reinstalling
the software. If you don't use/need the software, I'd suggest uninstalling it.

As far as I can tell, it's a part of Softex OmniPass:

I don't have/use it so can't give you more info than that. If you're sure
you don't use it, there might be an entry in the Add/Remove Programs applet
to uninstall the software.

Asked and already answered in the other newsgroup to which you posted.
Please don't multipost; it makes more work for everyone and will get you
*less* help, not more. See this for why:
