Error message logging into terminal server

I am recieving these error messages when I am attempting to log into termianal server for the first time as a new user
Messages read
Windows can not copy file c:\documents and settings\default user\ to location c:\documents and settings\user.domai
DETAIL: access denie
and
Windows can not log you on because the profile can not be loaded.
DETAIL: access denied

Have you checked the file permissions on the C:\Documents and
Settings folder? Users must have permissions to read the Default User
profile, and permissions to create their own copy of the profile.
