Error message KBD. exe

Hello:
My Pc recently developed a problem during strat up. For some reason an
executable file kbd.exe (PF type) cannot run correctly or cannot load and is
giving me an error duirng strat up. Computer runs fine or at least I do not
notice any other consecuences after I close the error message window. I
attempted to debbug by clicking the debbug option on the error messgae window
with no luck.
File is located in the windows folder / prefetch subfolder.
I am runnig windows XP home edition (SP2) with media center.
Can anybody help me get rid of this problem??

In case somebody is following up;
I contatced HP support and they recommended patch sp26752.
It fixed my problem.
