In trying to install Logitech Webcam onto my new HP Compaq Pressario with
Vista I froze the lot, apparently not compatible. Uninstalled everything
pertaining to failed installation and now get continual message stating,
your Camera has created an error on this program, Windows will close. How do
I repair and get rid of the continual error message ??Edna PS Make it simple
please!

I suspect you will need to use System Restore and restore prior to when you
attempted to install it. This newsgroup is for Windows Mail by the way.

Uninstall all the camera software reboot and let Vista install its own
drivers and if it tells you to go to Logitech to get the 10.x driver, DON'T.
That was flakey on Win XP as well. In other words don't use any of the
Logitech software you got with the camera and don't download anything
