Error message : disable antivirus when installing W XP

When performing a new Windoes XP install, the installation
fail nad create an error message. I formated my hard drive
with NTFS. but the error message won't allow me to
continue with install.

Windos xp install found errors install was stop to prevent
damage to your computer. Stop or disable your antivirus
program and try to install again 0x0000024 error message
code.

How can this be possible if I formated the hardrive?
What can I do to continue with the install.

Check the BIOS settings to see if any boot sector antivirus protection
is enabled, if so disable it. It may be preventing XP setup from writing
to the boot sector and it needs to in order to install.
