Hi,

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

1. Click Start and open Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, open "System".
3. Alternatively you can open the "System" by clicking the Properties button
available when you right-click the MyComputer icon on desktop.
4. Now click Hardware tab, and click Driver Signing button.
5. In the various available option, click the Ignore radio button.
6. Click OK and come out of the System Option Window.

Now you will be able to install the drivers for the Scanner in your
computer. After installing the drivers take the steps 1 to 4 and in the
drivers signing check the prompt radio button and click OK.

Thanks

First of all, it's not unusual for Microsoft to warn that
a particular hardware driver is not digitally signed by
Microsoft. That does not mean that the device won't
work, however. The Driver for my HP OfficeJet G85 is not
digitally signed by Microsoft, but it is fully functional
and works very well. HP even advises in some cases that
a particular HP driver may not be digitally signed, but
that it will work just fine.
In the possible event that there may be a flaw or
corruption somewhere in your CD, you might want to go to
HP's web site and download/install your scanjet driver
from there.
