Error Message - Delayed Write Failed

I've got 3 client computers (they have app installed) linked (networked
drive) to a server running the app that stores the data.

Every once in awhile they will receive this error message: Delayed Write
Failed. Windows was unable to save all the data for the file 'X'. The data
has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer
hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.

This error message is outlined in Article Q321733. For XP, it states to
check the registry to turn off SMB signing on the server by doing the
following:

1. Start Registry Editor (regedit)
2. Locate, and then click the enablesecuritysignature value under the
following key in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Parameters

3. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
4. In the Value data box, type 0 (zero), then click OK
5. Quit Registry Editor
6. Stop and then restart the server service, or restart the computer.

My question is that all the computers, including the server already had the
zero as the value in the enablesecuritysignature value; so what is the next
step to fixing the error.

I'm pretty new to XP, so the event in event viewer will have a URL that will
take me to a MS website such as in the Knowledge Base to access a solution -
is that what you are saying?
