Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Michael

Hi Group,

Im a Windows XP Professional user and I really like using it. But I do
get the error message Windows Delayed Write Failed almost everytime I
start my computer.
It varies from "Windows was unable to save all the data for the file G:
\$Mft " to "Could not write "G:\System Volume Information\something".
I use the following hardware specifications in my system:

Pentium D 3 GHz
Asus P5WD2 Premium Mainboard
2 GB DDR 2 O.C.Z. Ram

Seagate 300GB SATA (my C drive)
Western Digital 200 GB IDE (lots of files)
Seagate 300GB SATA (empty drive but still connected)

I run my SATA in BIOS as Standard IDE

Asus 7800GTX GPU

I have tried almost all the hints I have found through Google from
disabling things in the registry to increasing the paging file, to set
it managed automatically and so on but nothing really helps out and
the error keeps popping up unregularly...

Is someone in here able to help me?
Thanks in advance
Greetings Michael

Setting the page file to "let system manage" is correct, does the setting stay
set to that, usually one must click set 2X...Also,have you set youre IDE
and/or
the other SATA drive as a page file, this takes the load off C: drive.....

I am getting the SAME write failure message, but mine is C:\$Mft. I've never
seen this type of error before. This is what I'm running:

HP Pavilion 763n
Intel P-4 @2.53GHz
1GB RAM
GeoForce FX 5200 Card
160GB HD
2 External HD's = 1 TB

What gives???
