error message CDrom has bad block Event ID 7

This error keeps appearing when I try to format, using
Instant CD/DVD, a disc - usually DVD-R/W, or if I drag
and drop data to a disc.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks for this Rich. I found a couple of references. It
is a subscription site priced in dollars, can I get to a
UK version with £s?
