Error Message: 0x800ccc92

Can anyone explain error message 0x800ccc92? I am having
trouble receiving e-mail. I cannot get Outlook 2000 to
save my password & I always have to click
on 'send/receive' mail to get it in. Then a screen pops
up & I have to enter my password. I always check off
the 'save password' box, but it never saves. Can anyone
help?
