Error loading

I clicked on a link that was supposed to take me to an email, to my email
with their web address already in the email) and I got the folowing error:

RUNDLL

Error Loading
C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLO then a squiggely line that i do not have goes next
1lymmapi.dll
any ideas on how to fix this problem. Thanks Lisa

The line may be this: ~ ? This character is used in small names of the
long file/folder names that Windows uses. DOWNLO~ stands for DOWNLOADS
or something similar.
Did you install any plug-ins for the IE or OE? Remove them and see if
this helps. Further help is available from here:
