When starting my computer I get a dropdown message:
Error Loading
C:\Windows\Downlo~1\hbhelper.dll
"The specified module could not be found."
When I click OK the drop-down disappears and I can continue.
Bottom of
screen says "Rundll"
How may I correct this? Thanks
It sounds like a scan by an antispyware program removed an item
it classified as spyware. Unfortunately, it left behind an
entry in your registry to launch the program at startup. See if
the following helps fix your problem.
Download this program from Microsoft.
AutoRuns for Windows v8.61
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx
Launch AutoRuns.
On the toolbar at the top of the window, click on Options.
In the menu that drops down, click on "Hide Microsoft Entries".
Hit the F5 key on your keyboard.
Next, click on the Logon tab.
In the Logon page, look for an entry that points to
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\hbhelper.dll.
Remove the check mark from the box next to that line.
Close AutoRuns and restart your computer.
If this fixes the problem, launch AutoRuns again except this
time right click on that entry and select Delete from the menu.
Good luck
