Are you from Liverpool then? How's the weather been this year, lousy in
Iowa so far, more rain than Manchester :)

Anyway I searched for all 3 of those names and found nothing, so they
are probably not part of the operating system and may be part of some
malware. Maybe an antivirus or anti spyware has removed them?

Typically malware tries to launch at startup ao if they have been
cleaned off the system then that is what you are seeing.

Do you run anything like AdAware or Spybot? If so maybe that could
provide a clue, or you could search the registry yourself if you feel
happy about doing that. If so come back here and get advice from someone
more used to Vista before you start, and wait a while for other replies
anyway because someone may just have seen these before.

Can either of you think of anything that was done just before this
started? A game, fancy cursors, anything like that? Sometimes you can
reinstall a bad thing and uninstall it yourself via add/remove programs
and clean up the remains that got left behind.

Also these are all "Temp" files, part of a failed install that is still
trying to get started or something? I would not think any legit program
would be looking for it's libraries in a "Temp" folder, that is what dll
files are, Dynamic Link Libraries.

You should go to the Event Viewer to see errors posted there possibly to the
Vista event
logs to get more information than what you're posting about the events.

If you went to the System logs, you might be able to see what is doing it
clearly instead of shooting from the hip. Or you use the proper tools like
Process Explorer to go look.

<http://www.windowsecurity.com/artic...d_Rootkit_Tools_in_a_Windows_Environment.html>

It might not even be malware. It could have been something you have
installed and it didn't uninstall properly, but you can see it with PE as to
what is running on the computer.

You should take the machine to someone that knows what they are doing. All
you're doing is running some snake-oil software on the machine trying to
find and fix something that no snake-oil can fix.
