I keep getting an IUE cab error when I try to load microsoft office 2003 to
my new laptop Windows Vista, I have googled, and I have searched not sure how
this can be fixed. Can anyone help?

I noticed that nobody answered.

This isn't as flip as it sounds: if it was me I'd upgrade your Vista to XP.

It looks like Vista has flopped, and we'll have to wait for it's replacement
("7" supposedly by 2009) for our next hope of getting a good new OS from
Microsoft.

Sincerely,

Fred

Could you tell us the exact error message?

Tony,
When I try to install Microsoft Office 2003 it starts installing and then
stops with this error "IU561401.CAB" waiting for cabinets to be cashed to
local installation source.."

I did google this error and found others had the same issue but no resolve.
I did try to copy the disc to the hardrive and it had errors doing that as
well.

When I contacted Microsoft they gave me this discussion board as a way to
get help..

Any help is appreciated...
Angie
