ERROR Installing Windows XP

I am getting the "The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in
dynamic link library msdart.dll"
ERROR when:

1. I do an Upgrade Installation of Windows XP (XP still installs)
2. When I close Windows Media Player 9 (I tried upgrading to WMP 10 but
didn't like it at all so rolled back to 9)

A check on Microsoft's site with the search and they only list 3 events that
could cause this none of which are the 2 I listed above:

Can anyone help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks I did that and of course found a solution after going through 3
google pages and 6 "fixes"...it sure is great to know that MS is still
producing stuff that doesn't work and they won't fix...so that we can waste
untold hours of time doing their work while they get rich...geez...
