Error in VX2.dll and DIMM.dll

I can't seem to start IE6 nor can I even go into things
like the Control Panel or My Computer. Every time I try
to, I keep getting the error message above. I thought it
might have something to do with DirectX, so I re-installed
it, and I'm still having the same problem. If anyone could
give me any tips or suggestions, that would be great! Thanks!

That VX2.dll file is from Transponder spyware. See:

Either Ad-aware http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
or
Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd
should be able to remove it.
