Error in Internet Explorer

I am receiving an error# 84 in Internet Explorer. Everything was working fine
until I upgraded to Internet Explorer 6 and installed all the new security
updates. Basically, I am not allowed to type anything in any text boxes on
websites (ex. Cannot type a keyword for search on Yahoo). I was sent to a
website for this error, but it was for XP and my PC is running 2000. I tried
the XP troubleshoot and it did not work. Anyone have any ideas?

This does not work for 2000, this is for XP. I have tried this before. Is
there anything else?

Sorry. That was the only thing that came to mind. Hopefully, someone else
here will have some information that will help.
