Error importing foreign disk set in stripe after windows xp reinstallation

Hi.
First, thank you for all the help in advance.

I have three IDE disks in a system.
One was system disk and the other two are same size(279gb) and combined
as stripe.
After reinstalling OS(Windows XP Pro) on the system disk, I can't use
the two data disks.

When I enter disk manager, it show them as foreign disk 1 and 2 (Disk 0
is the system disk)
When I try to import it, it takes about 10 minutes in hard disk
activity then says it failed. Nothing happens. When I try again, there
is no disk activity but nothing happens either.

I tried command prompt "diskpart" as well. It is pretty same.

The data is so vital!
Please advise me any further action.

Thanks.

I may be wrong but I thought only Windows Servers can
use striped disks. I also thought that this was a Windows
2000 newsgroup, not Windows XP.

If I'm right about servers then you should connect the disks
to a server in order to retrieve your files.

And if your data is vital then it's time to review your backup
strategy.
