Error, help need

I recieve the following error when I acces certain
Windows Applications like My computer or Control panel.
The screen goes blank with just seeing the screensaver
then the desktop icons appear again. this error is
preventing me from using these programs.

"Windows has encountered a problem and needs too close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience"
"Don't Send" or "Send"

Signature file:
appname: Explorer.exe
Modname:Wininnet.dll

I am running windows XP and this error is starting to bug
me. Has any one get any advice on solving this issue?
 
i did a search for the same thing in the KB and Micosoft
knows about this problem. You can contact them to get the
fix but I think its still in beta. I have two users with
the same probs...
