Error Deleting File or Folder

For some reason I am unable to delete some .wav files and folders on my
laptop, that are located in My Music folder? The error is telling me to,
"Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not
currently in use." I've looked in the properties for the wav files and they
don't appear to be write-protected and I have 7 GB of space on my hard drive?
Can anyone help?

Try the deletion in safe mode, does it help?.
If it didn't try this tool:

You cannot delete a file or a folder on an NTFS file system volume -
