Unable to delete files

I transfered a large section of folders across my network using the send to
command. The transfer was successful but some of the files are not correct.
When I try to delete them, all I get is access denied make sure the disk is
not full or write protected. How can I remove these files from my computer ?

Hi Rory,

You need to take ownership of the files:

Also, fyi ... In the future try doing a "copy" of the files, the new files
would then have your user account permissions. Whereas a "cut" (and,
apparently, send-to) retains the previous user perms in which you may not
have authority to delete, change, etc.
