I am also having the same problem. It's only one file that I seem to have
this problem wth and its a file that has been downloaded off the net. I'm
getting exactly the same message:
I have no other programs open or running and I get the same message in safe
mode so cannot even delete it from there. (incedentally, the file is a .avi
file and is associated with Windows media Player.
I've run my norton anti virus and this isn't identifiying the file as a virus.
Additionally when I try to delete the file (or even just clicking once on the
file to highlight it) it slows my system right down. I've checked teh task
manager at this point and the proccesser usage is right up at 99% and it takes a
while for the system to return to a usable state.
