Error creating process

When trying to upgrade to WMP 10 or 11 I get the error message:

Error creating process
<C:\DOCUME~1\USER~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\setup_wm.exe/P:C:\Documents and
Settings\User #1\Desktop\MP10Setup.exe>. Reason: The system cannot find the
path specified.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
