Error Copying Tabs

I keep getting an Error and Excel Shutdown when copying tabs in
workbook. I can copy the tab to a New Workbook but, am unable to cop
in the same work book and rename the tab

Do you have the same problem if you start a new workbook and copy worksheets
within that workbook?

If you do, then I don't have a guess.

But if you don't, then maybe rebuilding that worksheet would fix the problem. I
had one one corrupted worksheet in a workbook that displayed the same problem.

I recreated that worksheet and it fixed the problem.
