keep getting error code 0xc8660160(could not open display), when I download a
game. I even bought games to download and this error keeps showing up like to
know if anyone knows anything about this code. thankyou

Check the games documentation, info on container or distributors support site for the
games required specifications.

You may need to update DirectX.
Your video adapter may not be supported.
Your video resolution may not be set at a compatible resolution for the game.
There may be other incorrect settings in the video adapters advanced settings
configuration.

You can change the video resolution via:
Right click on the desktop.
Click Properties > Settings tab.
Set the resolution and color quality that of the games requirements.

Although this may not have to do with your game(s), the steps involved to
troubleshoot the issue are the same:

did a quick search by the error code number and error at Yahoo
quite a few other games,etc. come up with that.

Maybe has a forum for specific game(s) you are playing with????
