Error: Can't find this file. Make sure the path and file name are.

When I attempted to send a new message from Microsoft Outlook I receive the
following pop up error message:

******************************
top of pop up: name of program (Microsoft Word)

Error message: "can't find this file. Make sure the path and filename are
correct."

Bottom of pop up: OK
*********************************
the pop up will often "hide" behind Microsoft Outlook and at times is
inaccessible requiring that I reset the machine in order to continue to
operate.

This has only recently started happening so I suspect that the registry has
been corrupted. I have attempted a detect and repair of both Microsoft Word
and Outlook and I have uninstalled office XP and reinstalled it however the
results are the same.

I am running office XP SP3.

I would appreciate any suggestions as to a solution!

In our case, we had a corrupted signature file which was causing the
problem.
We simply created a new Signature file from scratch, copied the old
(some how corrupted) text into the new one and everything started
working again.
Thanks,
Rob
