Error C00D119A

I've got two avi files one taken with a canon digital
camera and one from a Minolta digital camera. When I try
to play the avi file, media player tries to update a codec
but is unsuccessful. Error message recommends changing
explorer security level to allow download of codec. Did
this, but of no help. AVI file plays on other PCs. Other
AVI files play on PC with problems. Any help.

Error ID = 0xC00D119A
