Error 87 parameter is incorrect

Error 87 parameter is incorrect.

This is the only message that i receive when i go to
dialup to the internet. I have tried installing all the
new updates, service paks, & hotfixes for Win2k. Is there
anything else that i may have missed that would cause this
error?

Have you changed the default permissions on the System32 directory? If you
have, then try to follow this article:

266118 HOW TO: Restore the Default NTFS Permissions for Windows 2000

If not, then you may have to uninstall and reinstall RAS.
