Moveuser:Error 87

Yaman

Hi,

I'm working on NT 4.0 to 2003 migration of XP clients. First I change the
domain of the XP client from NT 4.0 to Windows 2003 AD and restart the
machine as a member of the new domain. Then I try to change the local
profile of an olddomain user to newdomain user remotely using moveuser
command. I run moveuser on a Windows 2003 DC. NT 4.0 and 2003 domains have
two way trust relationship. I get the following error which is error 87,
parameter is incorrect. I'm using the moveuser tool that I've got from the
Windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools. The XP client has SP2 installed. I turned
off firewall for troubleshooting and nothing changed. From the Windows 2003
DC, it's possible to reach the XP client's C$. Also I've made the Windows
2003 administrator user a member of the Windows NT 4.0 domain administrators
group. What might be the reason for this problem? I'll be happy to provide
any additional problem you would need.

Regards,
Yaman
