Error: 721 When connecting

I have a Win2k SP4 server with 2 internal US Robotics 56K modems installed. I configured RAS using the "Connecting Remote Users to Your Network" white paper from MS, and setup my client connection. When I attempt to connect, the client will dial, connect, handshake, and then try to authenticate the user. This is always followed by ERROR:721 THE REMOTE COMPTUER IS NOT RESPONDING. The user does have dialup permissions, and the RAS server is listed in AD under RAS and IAS Servers group. This client machine can make other successful connections, but always fails when using my RAS.

What am I missing?

Can you check to see the server side eventvwr for any RemoteAccess message
related to this disconnect?
