Hello,

Just recently, I started having issues with my outlook
2003 application. Whenever I send an email to anyone
(composing a new email, or responding to one I've
recieved) I get a bounce back with the following error. I
have ran a complete virus scan, updates windows as well
as office but not lock. any help is appreciated.

I am having the same problem ... did you ever get a response to your problem?

If you're having the same problem, turning on authentication to your
outgoing server should solve it. You can do this on the "Outgoing server"
tab for your account.

I turned on logging, but I do not have the file path C:\Documents and
Settings\<logon name>\Local Settings\temp\OPMLOG.LOG shown
on http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479. I
cannot find the file on my systerm, either.
I've searched for Local Settings and I can't find that, either.

The Local Settings folder is a hidden folder. Open Windows Explorer and
enter the following into the address bar:

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\temp

Windows Explorer should show you the contents of the Temp folder.
