error 3011 while opening the access mdb file

Dear sir,

whenever am trying to open the msaccess mdb file
the following error occurs:

The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object <name>. Make sure the object exists and that you
spell its name and the path name correctly. (Error 3011)


following things done :
reinstalled Msaccess
tried to repair mdb file thrgh ms access

Try using "JetComp", a free utility available from Microsoft that has a good
track record for repairing Access databases that cannot be opened in Access.
BTW, how did you try to repair your file "thrgh Access" if you can't open
it?

I ran the "Jetcomp" but am getting the message "error
compacting database"
