Not able to open the database

The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object databases

Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name
correctly. (Error 3011), Comes when i give password and log in to Access.

Well, that message is fairly clear; Access can't find the database.

What database are you trying to open, and how?
Is there in fact a database of that name on the disk and folder you specify?

Thanks for your response John. Front end form as well as the tables are in
the same file and also there is no link to other tables or files. I guess the
database as such is corrupted, and the worst part is i am not able to import
any object from this database. I do have a back up for this corrupted
database but it does not have data from February. If atleast i could export
one table from the corrupted database that will solve the issue.

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out the suggestions at

There are some for-fee database salvage services which might be able to help.

Unfortunately, one scenario that can cause this error is when someone opens a
..mdb file in Word or in Wordpad and makes any change - even a keystroke. My
understanding is that doing so irrevokably and completely destroys the
database.
