error 27 and Spyware Doctor

I have found a bug in Spyware Doctor. Once the program is installed,
it locks the drive so that Partition Magic and Chkdsk cannot do
offline work.

The error from PM is "error 27 Cannot lock drive"
The error from chkdsk is "unable to gain exclusive use of drive"

Uninstalling spyware doctor fixed the problem.
